Franco Winter Fest 2023
On March 4th and 5th, La Cité des Rocheuses hosted the first edition of the Franco Winter Fest, organized by the ACFA Régionale de Calgary, in collaboration with several community partners.
After a three-year absence, the former Sugar Festival is back with a new concept focused on diversity and the active participation of Calgary’s Francophone cultural communities. This first revamped edition of the Festival attracted more than 1,000 visitors to come and celebrate Calgary’s Francophone cultural communities.
More than 50 volunteers helped the regional ACFA of Calgary in the organization and smooth running of the Franco Winter Fest. These volunteers, from all over the world, dedicated their time and energy to the success of the festival. Each volunteer brought something unique and valuable to the festival through their experience, personality and life path.
