The Calgary Regional ACFA is recruiting volunteers for its board of directors

The Calgary Regional ACFA is the spokesperson organization for the francophone community of the greater Calgary area, whose mandate is to promote the community’s interests and ensure its overall development.
The Calgary Regional ACFA is looking for qualified volunteers to join its board of directors.
If you are a francophone or francophile from the greater Calgary area and wish to get involved in the francophone community, giving your time while putting your skills to work for the Francophonie of Calgary and its surrounding areas, submit your application!
Please note that given the profile of current board members and community dynamics, the Board is looking for individuals with skills and interests in the following fields:
Project management Finance Marketing and communications Public and political relations
Main roles, functions, and qualities of the sought-after board member:
Active participation and availability for monthly meetings, committee work, and potential representations. Interest in the development of the francophonie in Calgary and its surrounding regions. Knowledge of governance, although various training sessions are offered to regional board members during their term. Board meetings are usually held in the evening, either in person or through virtual means. Your availability during the day and on weekends from time to time would also be an asset.
