The ACFA of Calgary, in partnership with Volunteer Alberta, organizes a free workshop on Tuesday, November 07 at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom as part of the International Volunteer Manager Day.

Screening volunteers is a very important process when an organization works with vulnerable people (children, teenagers, people with disabilities and seniors).
Screening is a major challenge, as every organization must ensure that the people volunteering for its cause do not represent a risk to its clientele.
The aim of this workshop will be to provide all the important information you need to know about screening volunteers, as well as the resources available for waiving application fees.
From now on, it will be easier and less costly for you to check the criminal records of people wishing to donate their time to your cause.
